There are a few ways to get music playing in the world:

• Zone speakers — fixed locations (like the Mechanic Zone or Vanilla Zone) have their own music system you can control with the target interaction. Some zones are job-restricted.
• Portable speakers — place a speaker item down and anyone nearby can control it with the target interaction. Range is about 20 meters.
• Vehicle radios — turning on a vehicle’s radio requires a Gold+ subscription. Once it’s been turned on, anyone in the car can control it, and it’s loud enough that people outside the car can hear it too, not just passengers.

Volume fades out the further you get from the source, so don’t expect to hear a portable speaker from across the map.
