🪪 ID Cards & Licenses

You start with an ID card and a driver’s license. There’s no menu for these — just use the item from your inventory (F2) and it’ll pop up on screen, complete with a “pulling out your card” animation. Press Backspace to put it away.

Other license/ID-type items (like a weapons license or a lawyer’s pass) work the same way — use the item to show it.

What shows on your card

By default your ID/license shows your date of birth, sex, and nationality.

Driver’s license expiry

Your driver’s license expires after 30 real-life days. An expired license shows as invalid to anyone checking your record (including police running an MDT check) until you renew it at City Hall.
